Editor’s note: The Natural Mothering eBook Bundle sale is over.
I’m adding some posts – and giveaways! – to Accidentally Green’s typical schedule to highlight some fantastic resources available in the Natural Mothering eBook Bundle sale. It’s important to disclose that I will make a commission on every Bundle sold through Accidentally Green.
One of the great things about the Natural Mothering eBook Bundle – it’s on sale for $29.97 until Monday, June 17, 2013 – is the amount of resources available for new and expectant moms. Yesterday I shared about the unique fertility resources, but there are even more eBooks targeted to expectant moms. You can learn all about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum preparation through the eBooks:
- Unbound Birth by Jennifer Yarbrough;
- Fearless Birth by Kristen Burgess;
- My Pregnancy Journey by Mindy Harvey; and
- Rebuild From (Postpartum) Depression by Amanda Rose.
Getting personal
Even though my husband and I aren’t currently planning to increase the size of our family, I read Jennifer Yarbough’s book, Unbound Birth, anyway. It is excellent! I love that it explains how you can have a natural birth in a hospital. The book is very well-written, includes a wealth of information about childbirth preparation, along with advice (and birth stories) from a mom who has experienced three natural births in a hospital setting. Her perspective resonated so much with my personal preference and experience!
Prep during pregnancy
Mindy Harvey’s guide, My Pregnancy Journey, is a beautiful printable journal that expectant mothers can use to document their pregnancies.
And Kristen Burgess’ workbook, Fearless Birth, helps pregnant mothers identify and deal with fears that arise during pregnancy. As Kristen writes, “I found that as I labeled and researched each of my fears, they became a lot less scary. When you were a kid and saw monsters under the bed, your mom or dad came in and turned on the light. When you looked under the bed with them, your ‘monsters’ suddenly became toys, clothes, and books. These things are a lot easier to deal with than nameless, faceless ‘monsters.’ Researching a fear is a straightforward process, but it can seem daunting to get started with it.”
Navigating newborns
There are several books that will help moms through the newborn and infant stages, too:
- Creative Ways to Calm Your Baby by Justyn Lang;
- Finding Balance with Attachment Parenting by Andrea Olson;
- Confessions of a Cloth Diaper Convert by Erin Odom;
- First Bites by Hilary Kimes Bernstein (that’s me and my book!);
- Breast to Bib by Kate Tietje; and
- Breastfeeding Simply by Pinky McKay.
Natural Mothering eBook Bundle
