“This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!” – Psalm 118:24
After much anticipation, my first eBook, First Bites, is released! It went on sale beginning at midnight this morning. (Is it technically morning? Because I stayed up for the magical moment last night.)
And for this very first day, PDFs of First Bites are on sale for half price – only $4.99. When the clock strikes midnight tonight, they will return to the normal price of $9.99.
What’s First Bites about?
If you’re pregnant or have a baby that’s younger than a year old, First Bites would be perfect for you. I know it’s the book I wanted to have when I was a new mom.
When I was pregnant, I knew I wanted my baby to become a healthy eater, but I had no idea where to begin. After a lot of research and trial and error, I learned how breastfeeding and formula feeding are so different, why making your own baby food is healthier and cheaper than store bought food, and also what common food choices are harmful to children. First Bites includes all of this information, along with a timeline when certain foods can be introduced into a baby’s diet, and stories from other moms.
This book educates parents who want their babies to have a healthy start, but don’t have the time to do all of the research.
How to buy
Currently First Bitesis available in two formats – PDF and Kindle. Within the next few months it will be available on Nook and a host of other e-readers. You can buy the Kindle version through Amazon, or you can buy the PDF here on Accidentally Green or the First Bites website, www.firstbitesbook.com.
What’s next?
After you finish reading First Bites, you might have some questions. Ask away! (E-mail all questions and comments to firstbitesbook@gmail.com.) I’d love to help parents navigate feeding a baby. Just so everyone can be helped, questions will be addressed in future Accidentally Green blog posts.
If you love First Bites, please join the Facebook community – all kinds of baby food, breastfeeding, formula feeding, and nutritional information will be shared there. And don’t forget to tell your friends!

Congrats on your book! What a great resource. I wish I would have had this when mine were little. Well, they’re still little but they’ve already passed this stage. I am glad you linked it up though – I am sure there are tons of moms who are going to snatch this right up!
