Nice list! One of my favorite gifts to receive is a shopping trip to Goodwill, where the gift-giver keeps an eye on my kid while I look at clothes and then pays for the stuff I choose–which will be 3 or 4 items totaling <$20. I like having some garments that are new to me each season, but they don't have to be brand-new.
My parents live in a small town where they can't get many "exotic" foods, so when they visit me at Christmas, I take them to my local food co-op to choose some items from the bulk bins like a favorite green tea, whole-wheat sesame snacks, and nutritional yeast flakes.
Another gift various members of my family often give each other is organic fair-trade coffee. It’s important to consider the lives and health of the people who grow and process coffee, as well as the effects of pesticides on our own health and the environment…but it is more expensive than Maxwell House, and as a staple item the cost really adds up, so it’s nice to get some as a gift!
I LOVE your Goodwill shopping trip gift idea, Becca!
