As I was thinking about what to write about on Earth Day, I have to admit that I was pretty clueless. I write about environmentally friendly topics often on Accidentally Green. In the past I’ve written about how to celebrate Earth Day – and I’ve shared how I believe it’s important to be a good steward of the planet God has given us.
I realized that Earth Day isn’t such a big day for me – because every day should be Earth Day. Why should we treat the Earth with kindness just one day in April?
If I could have one wish for you this Earth Day, it’s this: Think.
Be thoughtful in the way you live each day. Think about what you put on your body. Think about what you wash down the drain. Think about what you put on your yard. Think about what you eat and drink. Think about what you breathe in. All of it affects the environment in some way – and it all affects you.
